My Story
hello my name is MERCEDES JULES and I am the founder of the benz way cosmetics line. I started this company due to the fact that my son lost his hair from cancer. I also used these natural products on my hair as well, it was such a tough time for us. I had no choice but to be strong. When all I really wanted to do was curl up in one spot and cry, I didn’t ask for any handouts due to my pride, instead we still worked for our needs throughout the process by selling lemonade on weekends on the days we were free and not stuck in the hospital. At the lemonade stand we had a picture of my son and a description of the type of cancer he had. Everyone was curious to know about the type of cancer he had because no one had ever heard of it. The more I tried to educate people about my son the harder it got for me. I started to feel like it was a waste of time explaining when none of that was going to help me. LIKE what if my child dies, it was like I was losing him. I started sharing his experiences to an even larger audience digitally. In my eyes he is a legend and legends need to be recognized. We began marching with different organizations traveling to Washington, D.C. and lobbying at the White House. I learned about cancer and especially childhood cancer. I began to get my strength ,courage and hope back to help my son fight this battle. I started saying to myself that we will live through this and be OK! After telling myself that, I began to make songs and verses about it all. I found power in my pain.
They say something good always comes out of every bad situation. I never imagined doing things in which I enjoy bringing out the creative in me. Now I bring THE BENZ WAY COSMETICS LINE to you!
